You don't know what you are or what you're doing here. All you know is that the world you're in is empty, but it shouldn't be. You must fill this world.

This game was created for a class assignment game jam. The theme was the topic of "texture." I thought of an idea to have different "textures" be added to the world as you play the game, with the individual pieces coming together to create something greater. The type of story I'm telling with this game is a bit experimental and abstract, and not the usual type of story that I tend to think of. It's a representation of the idea of creativity and making art.

This is a pretty cool game. I really like what you did with the theme and how you twisted it in interesting ways. This both has the conceptual and applied stances of the idea tackled, well done! This is a very functional game, I love it. I really like the story and how it evolves, with sounds and colors. This is a pretty fun game, I just wish there was more moments like the note and texture level. Thematic wise it is really well done. My only comment is that it could have gone further. One texture you could have explored (this is an advance idea) is the texture one can imagine in their head. All in all, awesome stuff!

Nice little game!

Hey Nathaniel! You game again looks amazing! It really cohesive with the theme, and it is very interactive. I especially like in the second scene, where the music is not coming out from the start, but a few notes first, and later it transit into the music, it feels very smooth. The only thing for suggestion is that the color are very strong contrast with each other, which makes feel a little bit hard to stare at.

Overall you are doing pretty good!

Omg this was so adorable, I'm obsessed with the little animated heart, especially when it started smiling at the end. I was actually quite moved by this story, which I realize is hard to do in such a short game, which leaves me very impressed. Amazing idea, story, and theme execution. Only thing, the amount of dialogue was a little overwhelming.
